Rendez-vous at the Coeur de Loire Domaine. Start the day with a simple French breakfast of good coffee and brioche bread before enjoying an instructive visit to the oenological laboratory.
Tour the fermenting room and cellars to learn about wine traceability: every wine has its own unique character, depending on its particular terroir or patch of ground, as well as the vinification and preservation methods used by the winemakers.
Tasting of the estate's wines, with a seasonal snack.
It's already noon... lunch next to the kitchen garden, on the patio or before the large fireplace... choose any one of 140 Loire Valley wines (also available at the boutique).
Château de Goulaine, the banks of the Loire and Sèvre Rivers, your host will be able to recommend a lovely afternoon walk.
Hotel reception in the evening. Terroir dinner before retiring to your room. |
